What we think, we become. It's not just Buddhism.

If we think about something over and over, it strengthens the neuronal communication in our brain. Neuroscientists often say what fires together wires together.

For example, when you try and memorize something, the repetition strengthens the connections between specific brain neurons. When we try to notice the positives in our lives, that focus strengthens those positive connections, which make us feel better. There is always something you can do to improve the moment.
